      The Development Assistant works collaboratively with the Director on the research and development of new programs and initiatives including the design of services for faculty in regards to Service and Experiential Learning.       This position works with the Bethany Historical Society in Bethany, CT. The Administrative Assistant will work with the President and board members of the historical society in their operations. Duties will include assisting with the upkeep and creation of displays in the Society’s museum, assisting with research and cataloguing items. Additional duties may include minor maintenance and display management at the Society’s historical homestead properties and preparations for community events at the property. This position will provide employees with in-depth knowledge of the operations of a local historical society. This is an off-campus position that requires a reliable form of transportation. The position pays $18.85 an hour and First Year Students will have the ability to bring a car to campus.
