Assist with the daily operations of the Club and Intramural Sport programs
Assist in the hiring, training, scheduling, evaluation and development of approximately 65 student employees
Provide site supervision for Intramurals, home Club contests and home Club practices
Attend regional and/or national tournaments with Club teams as needed
Collaborate with AT staff to ensure all Club athletes have provided proper paperwork
Plan and market Competitive Sports initiatives
Assist with the advisement of the Club Sports Advisory Board
Assist with semesterly data collection
Assist with the maintenance of Competitive Sports social media accounts
Assist with the planning and execution of semesterly leadership training
Implement risk management and emergency procedures when necessary
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree
Previous competitive sports experience
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Effective planning and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Officiating experience in any of the following sports: basketball, hockey, flag football, or soccer
Sport specific certification (e.g. IAABO for basketball
Experience with the following software: Excel, Fusion, Connect2Concepts, Canva, Photoshop, etc.
Experience with the operation of a club sport team
Career aspirations in campus recreation
Hours of Position:
Up to 20hrs per week
This is a 10-month position from August 1-May 30 and is renewable for one additional year. Nights and weekends are required. Offer contingent on acceptance into a Quinnipiac Graduate School Program.
