Quinnipiac University's School of Health Sciences (SHS) invites applications for a Full-Time Assistant Clinical Professor & Academic Fieldwork Coordinator in Occupational Therapy. The Academic Fieldwork Coordinator (AFWC) works closely with the Director of Clinical Education in the Department of Occupational Therapy (OT) to ensure program compliance with fieldwork requirements as stated in the 2023 ACOTE Standards C.1.0. The AFWC collaborates with the Master of Occupational Therapy (MOT) and Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD) Program Directors, faculty, and fieldwork sites/fieldwork educators to ensure integration of didactic and fieldwork education. The AFWC will have teaching and advising duties, service, and responsibilities relative to the implementation of strategic initiatives of the OT Department. We are seeking a highly motivated candidate with exceptional organizational, written, and oral communication skills. The Department of Occupational Therapy is part of the School of Health Sciences. The School of Health Sciences is home to approximately 86 full-time faculty and professional staff and enrolls over 2120 students across over 20 graduate and undergraduate academic offerings. The school is organized into 7 departments offering undergraduate majors in biomedical sciences, health sciences, radiologic sciences, medical microbiology & immunology and diagnostic medical sonography and graduate majors in physician assistant studies, occupational therapy, physical therapy, social work, biomedical sciences, pathologists’ assistant and cardiovascular perfusion. Our school provides excellence in education, scholarship, and community engagement with a mission grounded in our commitment to producing skilled and compassionate graduates, creating pioneering research, and partnering with our communities to advance the health and well-being of people and communities.
