The Department of Health and Exercise Science at Quinnipiac University invites applications for a 9.5-month, in-person, tenure-track faculty at the Assistant Professor rank, in the area of Nutrition. Generalists as well as those with specializations are encouraged to apply. We are seeking a candidate with expertise in human nutrition whose primary responsibilities will be teaching in the undergraduate health and exercise science curricula, and to support our nutrition minor. We are looking for an educator who will be integral in helping support our current nutrition offerings, and further help develop a program that emphasizes the vital roles that food and nutrition play in maintaining healthy lifestyles, athletic performance, medical nutrition therapy, and promoting community wellness. The expected start date for the position is August 11, 2025. |

About the School/Program: |
The School of Health Sciences is home to approximately 100 full-time faculty and professional staff and enrolls over 2120 students across over 20 graduate and undergraduate academic offerings. The school is organized into 8 departments offering undergraduate majors in biomedical sciences, health sciences, radiologic sciences, medical microbiology & Immunology and diagnostic medical sonography and graduate majors in physician assistant studies, occupational therapy, physical therapy, social work, biomedical sciences, pathologists’ assistant and cardiovascular perfusion.
