Develop and maintain project status for online stories created for the website and social media channels, gathering marketing content and liaising with students, staff and faculty.
Conduct interviews for written stories and then write stories
Build articles in the university’s content management system
Oversee event marketing communications projects with university staff and channel owners.
In collaboration with other departments, assist in the development and distribution of university newsletters
Conduct competitive analyses and online marketing research
Complete special projects with minimal supervision
Create digital signage
Qualifications:
Strong collaboration skills and ability to work with individuals across the department, and University, including students, staff and faculty
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Working knowledge of content management systems, optional
Provide sample of social media portfolio
Provide sample of writing portfolio
Ability to work nights and weekends
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced dynamic environment
Highly organized, detail-oriented and reliable
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Hours of Position:
Standard work hours with some nights and weekends
