Job Title:

Student Equipment Manager

Department: Athletics
Student Employment Type: Federal Work-Study and Non-Federal Work-Study
Responsibilities:
  • Provide Laundry Services to 21 division I athletic teams
  • Drive laundry cart with laundry to and from the satellite athletic facilities
  • Assist the head equipment manager with organization of Equipment Room
  • Help inventory apparel and equipment orders as needed
  • Other tasks as they arise
Qualifications:
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Works well as a member of a team
  • Must be able to lift upwards of 75 to 100 lb laundry bags into and out of the flat bed of a golf cart.
  • Background in athletics preferred
Hours of Position:
  • Typically 8-12 hours a week
  • 2-3 shifts a week
  • 3-4 hours/shift
  • Spread across 7 days based around class schedule
  • Preferred flexibility to work during the summer and university holidays
