Job Title: Student Philanthropy Ambassador

Responsibilities:
  • Help to promote campus crowdfunding efforts by helping to design and implement creative outreach strategies to raise awareness and participation in student-led fundraising campaigns as necessary.
  • Amplify signature giving programs by working with annual giving to create promotional activities for initiatives like the Bobcat Challenge, Bobcats Unite, and Parents Challenge through tabling, posters, and digital content.
  • Support the Student Philanthropy Council by contributing to event planning, logistics, and outreach efforts while representing the Council’s mission across campus as necessary.
  • Foster a culture of giving that teach students the value of philanthropy and its role at Quinnipiac.
  • Write personalized thank-you notes to donors.
  • Making personalized donor outreach calls to build meaningful connections by thanking supporters and inform them of upcoming alumni-related events.
  • Promote the Quinnipiac Fund and learn the purpose and goals of the fund and communicate its impact clearly to students, parents, and other stakeholders.
  • Maintain contact records by ensuring donor, student, and alumni contact details are sent to the correct so that updates can be made to university systems.
  • Serve as a friendly ambassador when alumni are on campus and be able to talk about what is going on within our department and provide tours as needed.
  • Helping craft and edit compelling written content to send to students and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Team player who can also work independently.
  • Punctual, dependable, and enthusiastic about learning.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Comfortable making phone calls and learning new software.
  • Experience with Canva is a plus!
  • Be a problem solver.
  • Strong work ethic.
  • Commitment to data privacy.
Hours of Position:
  • Up to 10 hours per week.
  • Evening and Week-end Hours as needed.
  • Compensation: $17.00 per hour.
