Job Title: School of Communications WordPress Website Manager

Responsibilities:

Work to create and improve WordPress sites of various School of Communications departments by doing the following, among other tasks:

  • Work with CSS code and WordPress templates to make new and existing departmental sites visually pleasing and user friendly
  • Establish, develop, and maintain a WordPress site for the Interactive Media and Communications graduate program that highlights student work and promotes the program.
  • Reformat older web articles for the sites 
  • Delete duplicate files and optimize photos, etc. 
  • Migrate other journalism departmental sites (e.g. Squarespace and Shorthand) to WordPress 
Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of, and skilled in, website design and maintenance and working in WordPress.

Hours of Position:
  • Up to 4hrs per week
  • Schedule to be determined
