Qualifications: |
Required: - Undergraduate student (preferably L&S but this isn't a requirement) who is able to make a two-semester commitment through May 2026 - Experience writing or creating content in various forms, such as web content, social media, email marketing, or published work - Enthusiasm for contributing to a creative team & passionate about serving students through communications. - Able to commit to a regular weekly schedule of 10 hours/week with availability during office hours (typically between 9 am - 4:30 pm, Monday - Friday, with some off hours (early evenings) for events as available. Regular work hours are flexible during those times for whatever works best with class schedules. If you have experience with these items below, even better! (but not required): - Experience with various social media platforms such as Instagram, LinkedIn, or Facebook - Experience with email marketing tools such as Mailchimp, or with data and analytical tools such as Excel or Google Sheets - Experience with video/photo or graphic editing software like Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud, or others - Experience with DSLR cameras and photography or video |

Position Summary/Job Duties: |
We plan to hire two undergraduate student interns to support SuccessWorks communications with flexibility for students to focus on areas that align with their skills and interests. We plan for one intern to specialize in social media, video production, and graphic design to create engaging content for platforms like Instagram and LinkedIn. The other will likely focus on email marketing and analytics, helping to build and send targeted newsletters and track performance to support our Career Communities. Both students will likely collaborate on some larger projects and will also assist with tasks such as taking LinkedIn headshot photos or tabling at SuccessWorks events. We’re always open to shaping the roles based on the strengths and interests of our student staff. |
