A bit about the role

Provide high-level administrative and technical support to the Fleet Support Team, maintaining accurate records and systems.

Assist with operational tasks and deliver excellent customer service to internal users, ensuring the safe and efficient management of Council’s fleet and plant assets.

What you’ll deliver 

  • Monitor and operate corporate and third-party systems (e.g. PoolCar, TechOne, Toll Accounts, GPS) to manage Council’s fleet and plant assets effectively.
  • Deliver prompt and professional customer service by responding to enquiries and resolving issues related to fleet and plant usage.
  • Assist in managing the operational needs of Council’s vehicles and plant, including servicing, cleaning, maintenance, and usage.
  • Research, compile, and provide data and reports as required.
  • Conduct safety and utilisation audits on fleet and plant assets as directed.

What you’ll bring

  • Proven relevant experience in administrative and data management processes (within local government is preferred)
  • Desirable to have experience in fleet administration and operational support.
  • Proficiency in the application of administrative procedures and practices
  • A current Australian driver’s licence.
  • Willingness to undergo pre-employment background checks including National Criminal History Check, Working with Children Check and Eligibility to Work check
  • A curious, collaborative, and inclusive community mindset.
