A bit about the role

As a Visitor Services Attendant, you'll play a key role in creating a welcoming experience for all visitors. Your primary responsibility will be delivering exceptional customer service while supporting the smooth and efficient operation of the facility.

You'll provide assistance with daily operations, offer valuable insights about the site's rich heritage, and share exciting information about upcoming events. Your enthusiasm and communication skills will help make each visitor’s experience memorable!

What you’ll deliver

  • Support in preparation, setup, pack up and cleaning of rooms for group programs and functions including Wedding bookings
  • Assist in the set up and support of major Old Cheese Factory events
  • Participate in staff meetings and staff training sessions as directed
  • Provide a high level of customer service to make visitors feel welcomed, directing them to their hired spaces and encouraging return visits
  • Ensure when delivering all customer service interactions that they are performed in a professional and friendly manner

What you’ll bring

  • Experience using a computer (Desirable)
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Minimum age of employment 15+ years
  • Valid Tax File Number
  • Motivation and commitment to exceed with supervision
  • Functional Assessment (Physio/Medical Examination)
  • Willingness to undergo pre-employment background checks including National Criminal History Check, Working with Children Check and Eligibility to Work check
  • A curious, collaborative, and inclusive community mindset
