The Community Facilities Management team operates across four local areas, facilitating bookings, administration, operational and community development tasks. This position will be located within the Northwest local area of Casey, and includes Lynbrook Community Hub, various family and community centres. There is a requirement to travel across Centres.

A bit about the role
As a Community Facilities Officer, you will be working within busy and dynamic community centres with a focus on providing effective daily operations and elevating the customer’s experience.
The key tasks involve, maintaining administrative systems, responding to customer inquiries, ensuring adequate resources and equipment availability, and upholding centre cleanliness and maintenance. Additionally, the role supports program delivery and promotes continuous improvement opportunities that aligned with community needs and expectations.
What you’ll deliver
- Community centres that promote a sense of belonging and participation
- Maintain administrative systems and manage the bookings of hirable spaces
- Respond to a wide range of customer requests
- Ensure an adequate supply of resources and equipment.
- Proficient support in the delivery of programs, activities and events.
What you’ll bring
- A curious, collaborative, and inclusive community mindset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Well-developed administrative skills
- Experience working in community settings
- Experience or exposure to venue booking systems.
- A driver’s licence, valid to drive within Victoria
- Willingness to undergo pre-employment background checks including National Criminal History Check, Working with Children Check and Eligibility to Work check.
- Functional Assessment (Medical/physio)
