A bit about the role

We’re seeking a OneCouncil Program Change and Communications Lead to drive organisation-wide change as we implement our new Enterprise Resource Platform (ERP). In this pivotal role, you’ll shape and deliver change, training, and communications strategies that empower our people, engage stakeholders, and ensure seamless adoption across the City of Casey.

You’ll lead a skilled team, partner with senior leaders (including the CEO and Executive Leadership Team), and play a critical role in ensuring the program delivers lasting benefits for our community. What you’ll deliver

  • Design and implement strategies that maximise adoption, minimise resistance, and ensure seamless integration of the OneCouncil ERP across the organisation.
  • Deliver clear, consistent, and engaging communications to keep stakeholders informed, aligned, and engaged throughout the change journey.
  • Plan and deliver training programs that equip staff with the skills and confidence to adopt new systems and processes.
  • Partner with senior leaders to guide them through change impacts, support benefits realisation, and align initiatives with organisational objectives.
  • Manage direct and indirect reports, providing clear direction, coaching, and fostering a collaborative, high-performing environment.

What you’ll bring

  • Experience leading large-scale ERP or enterprise transformation programs, with formal change management certification (e.g., PROSCI, PCI, APMG, Agile Change Leadership).
  • Ability to influence senior leaders, explain complex concepts clearly, and engage staff across all levels.
  • Skilled in designing and delivering training programs that support system and process change.
  • Ability to align change initiatives with organisational priorities, assess risks, and contribute to benefits realisation.
  • Experience managing and coaching teams, fostering collaboration, engagement, and high performance.
  • Willingness to undergo pre-employment background checks including National Criminal History Check, Working with Children Check & Eligibility to Work check, Psychometric Testing.
