A bit about the role
Join a fast-paced strategic planning role where you'll partner with the Victorian Planning Authority and the development industry to prepare a precinct structure plan that contributes to the delivery of our Liveable City outcome.
What you’ll deliver
• Lead the Cardinia Creek South Part 2 Precinct Structure Plan in partnership with the Victorian Planning Authority and developers.
• Manage project delivery to meet timelines, budgets, and standards.
• Represent Council and collaborate with government, industry, consultants, and the community.
• Coordinate stakeholder meetings, including agendas and timely distribution of minutes.
• Prepare briefs and oversee consultants for technical studies supporting the planning scheme amendment.
What you’ll bring
• Experience as a strategic planner in Victorian growth areas and/or precinct structure planning will be highly regarded.
• Ability to adapt and “hit the ground running” in a fast-paced environment.
• Degree or Diploma in Town Planning, Urban Studies or Urban Geography, or significant experience in a related discipline.
• Willingness to undergo pre-employment background checks including National Criminal History Check, Working with Children Check, Eligibility to Work check.
• A curious, collaborative, and inclusive community mindset.
