A bit about the role
We’re on the lookout for a dynamic Organisational Development Lead to help shape the culture, capability, and engagement of one of Victoria’s fastest-growing councils.
In this pivotal role, you’ll lead the design and delivery of organisational development programs that build capability, foster a values-driven culture, and support a thriving, inclusive workforce. You’ll oversee strategic programs including our Culture Program (Human Synergistics OCI), Diversity, Inclusion & Wellbeing, employee listening, onboarding, and recognition.
Working closely with leaders across the business, you’ll drive evidence-based initiatives and lead a high-performing team to deliver impactful, customer-focused outcomes. If you’re passionate about people, culture, and continuous improvement, this is your chance to make a real difference at scale.
What you’ll deliver
- Lead the design and delivery of organisational development programs that build capability, strengthen engagement, and embed a high-performing, values-aligned culture.
- Oversee Casey’s Culture Program using the Human Synergistics OCI framework, driving cultural insights into meaningful action across the organisation.
- Lead the implementation of Diversity, Inclusion & Wellbeing initiatives, ensuring these are embedded and aligned with organisational priorities.
- Drive key employee lifecycle programs including onboarding, recognition, performance and development (My P&D), and employee listening (e.g., People Matter Survey, Your Voice Matters).
- Provide day-to-day leadership and coaching to the Organisational Development team, fostering a collaborative, outcomes-focused environment.
- Collaborate across People & Culture and the wider organisation to deliver customer-centric, evidence-based solutions that support strategic goals and business needs.
What you’ll bring
- Tertiary qualifications in Organisational Development, Human Resources, Psychology, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated leadership experience.
- Proven capability in managing culture transformation programs, particularly using the Human Synergistics OCI framework or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge and application of evidence-based practices in areas such as diversity and inclusion, wellbeing, employee engagement, onboarding, and recognition.
- Willingness to undergo pre-employment background checks including National Criminal History Check, Working with Children Check, Eligibility to Work check and Psychometric testing.
