The City of Casey has recently gone live with an exciting upgrade to its core enterprise platform, TechnologyOne CiA, and is now focused on building a high-performing, cross-functional team to lead and deliver enhancements with a clear business lens.

A bit about the role
This role sits in our Information Technology Team within the Customer and Corporate Services Division. As a Senior Test and Automation Analyst, you will work in a small team and play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of Casey’s OneCouncil platform enhancements, built on TechnologyOne CiA.
This role requires strong hands on experience in automation testing, alongside solid manual testing capabilities, to support continuous delivery and reduce repetitive test effort. You’ll be responsible for validating usability, functionality, integration, performance, user acceptance, and regression testing, with a particular focus on designing and maintaining automated regression test suites.
What you’ll deliver
- Lead testing efforts across OneCouncil modules including Finance, Assets, and Supply Chain Management.
- Develop test strategies and approaches aligned with organisational standards and practices.
- Design, build, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts - automation skills are essential.
- Execute manual and automated testing, coordinate UAT, and report on test progress and defect management.
What you’ll bring
- Proven experience in test automation, with hands-on scripting in tools such as UI Path, Tosca, Selenium, or similar.
- Solid experience with test management tools like XRAY, Zephyr, TestRail, or ALM Quality Center.
- Experience with TechnologyOne applications is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of software testing across all test types and levels.
- Experience in API testing using tools like Postman or SoapUI.
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments, including participation in sprint planning and backlog refinement.
- Tertiary qualification in IT or a related field, and certification in Testing (ISTQB or equivalent).
- Willingness to undergo pre-employment background checks including National Criminal History Check, Working with Children Check, Eligibility to Work check
