About the Role
Step into a pivotal role at the City of Casey where you’ll lead the charge in shaping a truly inclusive, safe and high-performing workplace. As the Wellbeing, Diversity and Inclusion Lead you’ll turn insight into action, design impactful programs and help build a culture where people feel valued, supported and empowered to thrive.
What You’ll deliver
- Lead implementation and governance of the Workplace Diversity & Inclusion Strategy.
- Design and deliver key wellbeing, diversity and inclusion initiatives with leaders and stakeholders.
- Use workforce data, insights and benchmarks to inform evidence-based decisions.
- Provide expert advice to leaders on D&I, wellbeing, legislation and emerging risks.
- Develop and deliver communications and training to embed inclusive practices across the organisation.
What You’ll Bring
- Relevant qualifications in diversity, equity, inclusion, wellbeing, organisational development or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience leading and delivering DEI and/or workplace wellbeing initiatives.
- Strong ability to apply an intersectional lens across policies, programs and data analysis.
- High-level stakeholder engagement and influencing skills with the ability to build trust across all levels.
- High emotional intelligence, cultural awareness and a strong commitment to inclusive workplace practices.
- Willingness to undergo pre-employment background checks including National Criminal History Check, Working with Children Check, Eligibility to Work check and Psychometric Testing.
