St John XXIII Catholic College is seeking a passionate and dedicated Pathways & Partnerships Leader (2pts) to join our vibrant learning community in Stanhope Gardens.

It would be an advantage for the applicant to teach Religious Education.

As a teacher at St John XXIII Catholic College, you will play a vital role in fostering an inclusive and dynamic learning environment that inspires students to reach their full potential. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide visionary leadership for career pathways, implement College-directed procedures, and strategically plan initiatives to support student and family outcomes.

  • Advise Years 9-12 students on career planning, subject selection, post-school options (UAC, VET, tertiary, apprenticeships), and assist with applications and job search skills.

  • Develop and nurture strategic relationships with universities, businesses, and community stakeholders to enhance student opportunities and real-world experience.

  • Model outstanding teaching and positive relationships, and foster professional dialogue and best practices among staff to improve student pathways.

  • Oversee the organisation, administration, and coordination of career activities, manage budgets, maintain records, and ensure adherence to College policies and safety regulations.

  • Give personal witness to Catholic values, promote Religious Education, and contribute to fostering student wellbeing and a respectful College culture.

Qualifications:

  • Compliance with NSW Child Protection Legislation (Working with Children Check clearance).
  • Eligible according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA).
  • Tertiary qualification (minimum 4-year degree or 75% complete).
  • Experience in supporting diverse learning needs is an advantage.
