We’re looking for a motivated Launch Engineer to join our New Model Launch team. In this role, you’ll take the lead in resolving pre-series build issues, ensuring robust containment, and delivering long-term corrective actions. It’s a highly visible position with broad exposure across the organisation—including R&D, Program, Quality, and Manufacturing—offering a unique opportunity to make a genuine impact on launch success.

You’ll lead during fast-paced build events, coordinate cross-functional activity, and apply structured problem-solving tools to keep launch plans moving forward. You’ll also maintain and present KPIs that track build health, drive decisions, and keep senior stakeholders informed. Your ability to adapt, influence, and manage across teams will be crucial.

This role suits someone who’s logical, collaborative, and thrives on complexity. You should be comfortable with autonomy, able to manage multiple projects, and confident presenting ideas clearly at all business levels.

We're looking for candidates with:

  • A degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
  • Strong knowledge of vehicle assembly operations
  • Familiarity with R&D, Quality, and Program requirements for vehicle launch
  • Experience using 8D, DMAIC, or other structured problem-solving methods
  • Six Sigma accreditation or an NVQ in Automotive Production would be preferred.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent presentation and communication abilities

This role offers more than technical challenge—no two days are the same, it’s a platform to lead, influence, and grow. You’ll have the freedom to make decisions, the trust to own problems, and the visibility to shape something meaningful.

You’ll be based onsite five days a week at our Gaydon Site in Warwickshire, working within a tight-knit team. It’s a dynamic, collaborative environment where your voice will be heard—and where your work will have real, visible impact.
