We’re seeking a Graduate to join our Vehicle Line Director team. As part of your role, you’ll learn how the department and the whole of Aston Martin operates.
About the role:
We’re seeking a Graduate Engineer to work within our Vehicle Line Director team The Vehicle Line Director (VLD) team sits within the Engineering function and acts to lead projects to optimise product offers, profitability and timing - the VLD act as a ‘mini CEO’ for the carline. This role will work within the VLD team to support vehicle carlines achieve their project and lifetime business targets.
What we’re looking for:
As the VLD Graduate Engineer, you’ll join different vehicle carline projects to drive a positive cross functional approach to project delivery. There are many ways you’ll be a key member of the team including but not limited to optimising lifetime vehicle line plans, bringing transparency of data for informed decision making, entrepreneurial proposals to optimise business outcomes and helping the VLD bringing the best outcomes for our customers and Aston Martin.
You'll need to:
- Have a passion to learn how to drive profitability within an automotive OEM
- Hold a degree with a minimum of a 2:1 in Project Management (integrated degree) or Product Design and Development Engineering
- Ability to work with others cross functionally and communicate well across all levels
- Demonstrate extracurricular activity that gives examples of your passion to want to improve business performance
