The Procurement department plays an important role in Cost and Supplier Management for the company's future-driven Strategic and Commercial approach. Your remit will include taking ownership of Procurement costs and contributing towards Strategic supplier selection.

About the role:

As our next Procurement Graduate, you will become a valued member of our Procurement team. As part of your role, you will be instrumental in driving Supplier Management and evaluation to ensure Aston Martin has the right supply partners on board to deliver the products to support our future vehicle line.

Your remit will be to work with a cross functional team of colleagues and support the Procurement function on day-to-day activities such as Sourcing, Negotiation and Cost Management, supplier evaluation and risk mitigation. As you become more involved and settled into your role, you will have the opportunity to take on more specific end to end commodity management, this includes from the initial ‘Request for Quotation’ process through to developing and enacting your negotiation plan which will result in the most appropriate sourcing decisions.

It is important to have a unity of mind in working with the team and trust in one another's abilities. You are not the type to shy away from challenges; this role is not for someone who just wants a routine job. In this role, you will be given the chance to deal with diverse and complex problems and have the ability to think outside of the box for a solution-focused result.

You will need to:

• Be a team player with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Hold a 2:1 degree [min] in Business Management or Mathematics
• Ideally, experience gained within an Industrial Placement
• Have some knowledge and understanding of cost awareness
• Have a keen interest in Procurement
