We are seeking a detail oriented Document Controller to manage project documentation, support compliance and reporting, and provide key administrative support to the project team throughout the construction journey.

At Seymour Whyte, we know that successful project delivery relies on strong systems, clear communication, and attention to detail. We are seeking an organised and proactive Document Controller to support the delivery team by managing project documentation, records, and workflows.
About the Role:
- Manage the setup, control, and maintenance of project document systems in line with company standards and project requirements.
- Receive, register, distribute, and archive incoming and outgoing documentation (including drawings, correspondence, RFIs, and reports).
- Work closely with engineers, subcontractors, and the wider delivery team to ensure document version control and timely approvals.
- Ensure compliance with document control procedures and client requirements.
- Support audits, reporting, and handover preparation through accurate record-keeping and data management.
- Provide administrative support to the project team as required, including compiling document registers, checklists, and tracking logs.
About you:
- Prior experience in a document control role, preferably in construction or engineering related industries.
- Demonstrable knowledge of the principles for management of version-controlled documents.
- Prior use of a document management system.
- Intermediate to advanced computer literacy (Microsoft Suite).
- Current driver’s licence.
