About the role 

We are excited to offer a temporary opportunity for a motivated and capable individual to join our team as School Crossings Lead, covering a period of leave.

In this key role, you will be responsible for the effective coordination of the daily operations of the Knox School Crossing program.

You will work closely with a wide range of internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure the program runs smoothly and that safety standards are upheld to the highest levels. Your leadership will support a team of school crossing supervisors, ensuring the service is delivered efficiently, professionally, and in line with relevant policies and legislation.

This is a full-time temporary role for a 7 week period between Monday 2nd June 2025 to Friday 18th July 2025 based at the Knox Civic Centre. We support flexible working arrangements while ensuring operational needs of the role are met.

This is a Band 6 classified role. Remuneration will be $95,488.69 to $104,288.00 (depending on experience) (pro-rata for part time) plus superannuation in accordance with the Superannuation Guarantee. 

What you will bring to this role  

The key selection criteria for this role are: 

  • Demonstrated experience in leading and managing a large and diverse team effectively
  • Highly developed organisational and time management skills
  • Strong customer service skills and experience in a service delivery environment
  • Ability to build collaborative relationships with both internal and external stakeholders and advocate effectively on behalf of the service
  • Competent in the use of technology, systems and applications
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong administrative support skills with the ability to prepare reports and presentations in a succinct way
