About the Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a Service Desk Technician to join our team on a permanent full-time basis.

As our new Service Desk Technician, you will have a good understanding of the day to day role a technician plays within the service desk team. With excellent organisation, communication, and time management skills, you are adept at ensuring that all Service Desk requirements are carried out both efficiently and effectively.

This is a full time permanent role based at our Civic Centre however we can offer a range of flexible work options for the right candidate.

This is a Band 5 classified role, remuneration will be $75,948.26 - $88,363.93 (depending on experience) plus superannuation in accordance with the Superannuation Guarantee.

What you will need to thrive

The key selection criteria for this role are:

  • Excellent oral and written communication
  • Passion for Customer Service
  • Background in IT troubleshooting (network and desktop)
  • Understanding of ITIL
  • Excellent understanding of Incident and Problem management process
  • Striving to continuously improve knowledgebase and processes
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with excellent prioritization skills
