We are currently recruiting for enthusiastic Diploma Qualified Educators for our Sessional Kindergarten programs held at Council’s Early Years Hubs in Bayswater and Wantirna South.
The Diploma Qualified Educator is required to work collaboratively across the Hubs team, to provide high quality early childhood education and care, meeting the individual needs and interests of children and families. The key capabilities for this role include: Customer Focus, Instils Trust, Collaborates, Demonstrates Self-Awareness, Action Oriented, Situational Adaptability, Ensures Accountability, Interpersonal Savvy.
Educators are employed across both Knox Early Years Hubs and enjoy the support of a passionate and positive leadership and broader Hubs team located at each site.

Our Sessional Kindergarten staff are employed under the Early Education Employees Agreement 2020 (‘EEEA 2020’) in line with the Victorian School Term dates.
The successful applicant will possess appropriate qualifications, excellent communication skills, proven customer service skills, and a Working With Children Check.
This is a EEEA Diploma Level 2.1 to 2.3 classified role, remuneration will be $54,144 to $55,760 per annum based on experience (pro rata for part time) for 46/52, plus superannuation in accordance with the Superannuation Guarantee.
What you will need to thrive
The key selection criteria for this role are:
- Demonstrated ability to actively support the implementation ad evaluation of an inclusive child-centred play based program that supports children’s strengths, interests and cultural background.
- Demonstrated ability to work within the team to support children and families.
- Demonstrated knowledge of supporting children’s social, emotional and self-regulation skills.
- Demonstrated time management and computer skills including Microsoft Office including email, and other various platforms.
