The Program Leader Early Years Hubs will uphold Council’s commitment to ensuring child safety and the protection of children against abuse, through complying with, promoting and advocating for Child Safe practices, in line with the Victorian Child Safe Standards and Council’s Child Safe Policy and Procedures.
What you will need to thrive
- Demonstrated personal values and behaviours that align with Knox Values and Behaviours.
- Demonstrated knowledge of and experience applying relevant Laws, Regulations, Quality Standards and Frameworks relating to Early Years services including Child Safe Standards and Reportable Conduct processes.
- Demonstrated understanding and application of contemporary, evidence-based Pedagogical theories to support best practice and improved outcomes for children and families.
- Excellent communication skills with adults and children.
- High levels of emotional intelligence and ability to foster and develop this in others.
- Experience in mentoring and coaching staff to achieve a high standard of performance.
- Demonstrated understanding of how to work in an integrated collaborative way with others.
- Demonstrated ability to be nominated as a responsible person in day-to-day charge of the service.

Remuneration for this role will be under Band 5 of the Knox City Council Enterprise Agreement with a salary range of $78,036.84 to $90,793.94 depending on experience, plus superannuation in accordance with the Superannuation Guarantee.
