About the role
As a Property Officer, you will provide sound advice to the internal and external stakeholders regarding property matters such as leases, licenses, encroachments, acquisitions and disposals. You will possess knowledge of title searches, contract types and uses, as well as the ability to research background information. Your excellent interpersonal skills will continue to build the success profile of the team while reinforcing Councils strategic vision.
We are looking for a full-time Property Officer to join the Strategic Procurement and Property team here at Knox City Council on a permanent full-time basis.
This is a full-time permanent role based at the Knox Civic Centre (Wantirna). We support flexible working arrangements while ensuring operational needs of the role are met.
This is a Band 6 classified role, renumeration will be $95,489 to $104,288 (depending on experience) plus superannuation in accordance with the Superannuation Guarantee.
What you will bring to this role
The key selection criteria for this role are:
- Experience in a Property Officer role (eg establishing leases/licenses, acquisitions/disposals)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Competence in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Ability to problem solve
- Sound organizational skills.
