Lead Student Life Ambassador Overland Park Main Campus
Performs the day-to-day functions associated with the operation of Student Life spaces according to college guidelines. Assists in the development and implementation of programs that foster student engagement. Serves as a lead for the student staff within Student Life and Leadership Offices assisting the manager and coordinators of the area in the success of the Student Life Ambassador teams.
Editor-in-Chief, Student Media Center Overland Park Main Campus
Oversees the Student Media Center, inclusive of the student online newspaper and the student video production team. Plans student-centered editorial content with student editors and staff, including assignment of stories, photos, cartoons and videos, and setting of deadlines. Approves and posts content on Student Media Center website. Conducts regular staff meetings and monitors staff progress. Collaborates with social media staff regarding content and image presentation. Serves as spokesperson for the Student Media Center. Hires staff with assistance of Student Media Advisor.
Honors Ambassador Overland Park Main Campus
Perform receptionist and front desk duties while displaying excellent customer service on behalf of the Honors Program at Johnson County Community College (JCCC).This position is only open to current JCCC students in the Honors Program. Activities will include marketing as well as event planning, and recruitment (including social media) to honors peers.
Customer Service Lead Overland Park Main Campus
Answer phones; provide general bookstore information and sales support for high volume retail operation. Assist customers with purchases, operate cash register and assist with data entry. Receive, price, and stock merchandise. Preform operational duties at buyback and rental check-in at end of semesters. Take part in cyclical and fiscal physical inventory.

The SRC Embedded Tutor supports both students and instructors in courses at Johnson County Community College. Key responsibilities include guiding students through coursework or lab experiments, assisting with content related to the course work or lab experiments, ensuring student engagement, enforcing classroom guidelines or lab safety protocols, and completing other duties as requested by the course instructor and supervisor.
Veteran Services Intern Overland Park Main Campus
The Veteran Services Outreach Intern position has three functional areas of responsibility: PAVE Peer Advisor, JCSVA Lead Officer, and Veteran Services Office Aide. Based on an agreement between the student intern and supervisor, the student intern will perform one, two or all three of the objectives.
