Starting Salary Range: $55,113-$71,677 and determined based on relevant years of work experience provided on application and resume.

Position Summary: Lead payment processing and Student Account Services functions within the Bursar’s Office, ensuring efficient support for students, staff, and faculty.
Required Qualifications:
- Broad knowledge of the field with demonstrated leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in business-related major.
- Accounting, customer service, and higher education administration experience preferred.

Position Details: Job duties include but are not limited to:
- Supervise the team of Accounting Specialists, coordinating daily workflows to ensure coverage of duties and timely and accurate processing of transactions.
- Train, support, and mentor team members within the department to provide development opportunities and drive a culture of customer service excellence.
- Counsel students and parents on account status and payment options. Address and handle escalated issues and difficult interactions, following those issues to successful completion. Research and resolve complex problems and discrepancies. Collaborate across departments to resolve student account disputes as needed.
- Advise departments on payment and deposit processing, including developing controls on money handling and providing equipment or reports necessary to take payments, track payments, or submit deposit information.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to coordinate the flow of relevant information to ensure effective support for students, consistent communication, and high-level service delivery.
- Use TouchNet, Banner, and other processing partners to test and review enhancements and updates, escalate issues when appropriate, and communicate issues of impact to relevant parties.
- Reconcile payment, deposit, and refund activity on a monthly basis. Serve as point of contact and provide support resolving variances related to deposit processing.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including producing 1098T statements and sending required requests to students for tax information.
- Assist departmental leadership in the development of processes, procedures, goals, and objectives.
