As an Administrative Assistant I with CWI’s Workforce Development team, you’ll be the first point of contact for students and organizations, helping them navigate registration, training, and resources while ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide Outstanding Student and Customer Support

  • Serve as the first point of contact, answering questions and guiding students through registration, training, and certification.
  • Deliver accurate information with professionalism and a student-centered approach.

Ensure Accurate and Efficient Administrative Operations

  • Maintain records, process documents, and complete data entry in college systems.
  • Prepare completion letters, certificates, and communications to support Workforce Development programs.

Support Learning and Program Success

  • Prepare classrooms, testing areas, and materials for instruction.
  • Coordinate supplies and provide support for faculty, staff, and events.

Model Professionalism and Collaboration

  • Work cooperatively with colleagues and students while upholding CWI values.
  • Represent the college positively at events and in all interactions

What We're Looking For:

• High school diploma or equivalent diploma
• One year of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience in a customer service and administrative role.
• Must possess excellent customer-service skills
• Must have excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office and telephone protocol
• Duties require professional verbal and written communication skills and the ability to type 50 wpm
• Ability to interpret documents and manuals, such as safety rules and manuals, operating and maintenance instructions, and policy and procedure manuals
• Ability to write original instructions, reports, and other routine business correspondence and memorandums
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions in one-on-one and group situations

Additional Instructions for Applicants:

All candidates must reside within, or be willing to relocate to, a reasonable commuting distance from CWI. Employment visa sponsorship is not available for this position
