Position Title: Bldgs&Grnds/Ice Attendant

Work Schedule: Traditionally Monday-Friday, 7:30 am - 4:00 pm; some evenings and weekends
Salary: $18.56 starting; $19.54 working
Travel: No travel
Brief Statement of Duties
Brief Statement of Duties: Under routine supervision, engage in a variety of housekeeping, custodial and maintenance projects in University buildings and on adjacent grounds. Maintain ice sheet and convert venue from hockey to basketball and other activities.
Minimum Qualifications
Required Education: High School Graduation or Equivalent
Discipline / Degree Area:  
Required Specialized Training/Certifications: Valid motor vehicle operator's license as required. Certified to operate a forklift, scissor lift and boom lift within six months of hire.
Required Minimum Work Experience: Combination of two years of experience in custodial and/or building and grounds maintenance work in hotels/motels, apartments, or relevant business or institutional settings.
Experience operating a Zamboni and ice maintenance equipment.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, or Attributes Required for Satisfactory Performance of the Position Duties: Physical capability to perform all the duties and responsibilities of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
Ability to pass relevant oral, written, and/or performance testing.
