Work Schedule: Traditionally Monday - Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm; occasional need to stay until 6:00 pm or support evening activities; hours outside of the normal working day are known well in advance and can be worked around if needed
Salary: $15.80
Travel: No travel
Brief Statement of Duties
Brief Statement of Duties: Provide administrative support to the NMU-AAUP leadership; Academic Senate Chair; the executive committees for both NMU-AAUP and Senate; and some standing committees (e.g. managing the FRC schedule, organizing/filing associated applications including sabbatical, promotion, tenure, etc). Responsible for office administration (i.e. office equipment troubleshooting, office supply inventory management, budget support, customer service, communications, document and form preparation and maintain complex filing system) and serve as first point of contact for external constituents. Other duties include support roles such as paying internal and external vendors; coordinating events; assist with election process; maintain websites (Academic Senate and NMU-AAUP); and maintaining and appropriately reporting membership lists etc.
Minimum Qualifications
Required Education: High School Graduation or Equivalent

Required Minimum Work Experience: Five years of progressive office work experience, e.g., management support, independent creation/monitoring/oversight of the functioning of an office OR a Bachelor's Degree.
