Job Summary: The Student-Athlete Success Specialist will serve as a vital member of the Wellness, Athletics, Retention, and Engagement (WARE) department, housed within the Office of Campus Life and Retention. This role champions the academic and holistic well-being of student-athletes, fostering their persistence and retention throughout their collegiate experience. This role requires a strong understanding of the unique challenges faced by student-athletes, familiarity with NJCAA eligibility rules, and a commitment to fostering development.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Associate’s degree OR at least two (2) years of completed college coursework (in education, sports management, counseling, or related field preferred). Experience: At least one (1) year of experience working with student-athletes (college-level preferred). Basic familiarity with NJCAA eligibility rules and academic requirements.
Licensing Requirements: PA ACT-15 Compliance; VALID Driver's License
