Confer with and advise University officials on a wide variety of legal matters/topics, constitutional law, general business and contractual matters, including issues relating to public corporations, government regulatory compliance, and employment law. Interpret, revise, and draft policies of the University, including Board of Trustee policies. Collaborate with University officials regarding effective use and implementation of policies. Conduct legal research and prepare policies, resolutions, memorandums of law, and legal opinions. Draft, review, and administer contracts. Represent the University in legal proceedings. Conduct University litigation and claims and their defense. Monitor the adoption of significant legislation, the issuance of significant court or administrative rules, regulations, guidelines, or interpretations affecting the University, and advise appropriate University officials of the same. Monitor and coordinate litigation assigned to external counsel. Assist in formulating and implementing institutional strategies for preventing legal problems. Adjunct Instructor - School of Education Big Rapids, MI 49307
The School of Education seeks candidates to teach on a semester-by-semester, as needed basis, in the areas of elementary and secondary education. The instructor is expected to use high-quality instructional strategies, integrate theory and practice, and support student success in coursework and clinical experiences. Director, Dual Enrollment Programs Big Rapids, MI 49307
The Director of Dual Enrollment Programs provides leadership and oversight to administer, enhance, and expand the dual/concurrent enrollment and early/middle college programs. This individual will build relationships with high schools and career centers throughout the state, partner with deans, department chairs, and faculty to address student and school district needs, and implement marketing and promotional strategies to ensure participation. The Director will also provide admission and registration support services at off-campus sites and oversee orientation and administrative support for students and faculty. Desktop Support Technician 1 Big Rapids, MI 49307
A Desktop Support Technician responds to incidents and requests escalated by the Service Desk that are related to customer equipment in which additional skills, knowledge, tools, or authority are required. May resolve incidents remotely, at the user’s location, or via equipment returns. Responsibilities may include hardware and software troubleshooting, deployments, moves, adds, and changes. Adjunct Instructor - Information Security and Intelligence (Dual Enrollment Programs) Metro Detroit
Seeking qualified applicants for a pooled, part-time Instructor position in Information Security and Intelligence to teach dual enrollment (high school students) courses in Detroit, Michigan. Courses will be delivered face-to-face at 1201 Woodward and are planned to meet three days per week (tentatively MWF, between 12pm-3pm) during the Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 semesters. Instructors will teach one or more of the following courses: ARTI 113 – Introduction to AI; ISIN 121 – Digital Security Awareness; CLOU 131 – Cloud Computing Fundamentals; and ISIN 209 – Network Security. Responsibilities include delivering high-quality instruction in a face-to-face format; maintaining academic rigor consistent with university standards; assessing and improving student learning outcomes; and collaborating closely with program faculty. Assistant or Associate Professor of Automotive Big Rapids, MI 49307
The School of Automotive and Heavy Equipment invites applications for a 9-month, tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and teaching courses in the Associate in Applied Science Automotive Service Technology Program and in the Bachelor of Science Automotive Engineering Technology Program, in lecture and lab formats.
