As the Head of Third-Party Distribution at HBF, you’ll lead the creation and management of a new distribution channel that enhances member acquisition and engagement through external partnerships. Your leadership will span two key phases:

 

  • Build Phase: Lead a squad of 6–10 to design and deliver the technology, processes, and proposition that enable third-party distribution. You’ll define the squad’s vision, align delivery to strategic objectives, and establish onboarding and engagement journeys for partners.
  • Operational Phase: Oversee a smaller team of 1–3 to manage the day-to-day operations of the channel. This includes vendor management, performance reporting, marketing support, and ensuring compliance and risk controls are in place.

Throughout both phases, you’ll collaborate across teams and act as a strategic owner of the channel, driving outcomes that align with HBF’s member value proposition and business goals.

 

Key Accountabilities

  • Develop and execute the overarching strategy and roadmap for third-party distribution, onboarding, and engagement.
  • Own the squad’s backlog, prioritising initiatives aligned with OKRs and member outcomes.
  • Lead delivery planning and execution in collaboration with Scrum Masters and Chapter Leads.
  • Manage third-party vendor relationships, including contracting and performance oversight.
  • Serve as process owner and data steward for third-party acquisition processes.
  • Drive operational risk management and ensure compliance with HBF’s frameworks.
  • Provide timely reporting and insights on acquisition metrics and campaign performance.
  • Champion a culture of servant leadership, continuous improvement, and agile ways of working.

 

About You:

  • Proven leadership experience in a relevant business context (6+ years preferred).
  • Strong background in digital technologies, agile delivery, and third-party relationship management.
  • Skilled in strategy execution, stakeholder engagement, and risk management.
  • Ability to synthesise data and insights to inform decision-making.
  • Familiarity with contracting and negotiations with large external partners.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and conflict resolution skills.
