The opportunity
We are looking for someone excited to develop cyber security awareness and human cyber risk management skills during a 12-month secondment to the Technology Governance team. You will have the opportunity to augment our Cyber Care program, supporting awareness and engagement activities and teaching colleagues about cyber security.
Position responsibilities
Working under the direction of the Cyber Awareness and Engagement lead, responsibilities in this role include:
- Supporting our monthly phishing simulation activities: Design and execute simulated phishing attacks to assess and improve our team's resilience against phishing threats, and help support analysis and reporting.
- Developing and delivering training sessions for HBF, see-u and QCHF teams
- Maintaining Cyber Care resources on The Pulse and drafting communications for internal audiences
- Organising Cyber Week activities and events
- Supporting the growth of our Cyber Security Champions program
- Administering our Cyber Hero Shine initiative
About you
- Based in Perth
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite: confident using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and Outlook
- Excellent communication and organisational skills: demonstrated ability to cultivate relationships with internal stakeholders and meet deadlines; good understanding of HBF as an organisation
- Curiosity and problem-solving skills: open to learning new skills and applying them to innovate our awareness and engagement practice
- Diligent: Able to work independently and autonomously, as well as part of a team.
- Basic cyber security knowledge: Foundational knowledge of cyber security concepts and practices. Willingness to learn and stay updated on the latest trends and threats in cyber security.
