The Opportunity

An exciting permanent opportunity is now available to join the Corporate & Policy team within Member Operation.

In this role you’ll support membership processing where we onboard new to HBF members and manage updates to current Members policies. We continually look for better and faster ways to provide a seamless Member Experience.

We are seeking individuals who have exceptional communication skills, sound product knowledge, enjoy helping our Members and are interested in understanding what goes on behind the scenes in the processing engine of HBF. If you like to think differently and get excited about learning then we have great secondment options available.


Key Responsibilities

  • Processing in a risk aware manner between HBF core systems. In some instances, this may also require contacting Members and/or Providers to validate that we have the correct information for them.
  • Identifying and raising errors to enable possible root cause identification and feedback to frontline and/or other impacted stakeholders.
  • Ensure all processing, including exceptions, are processed in a timely manner and efficient manner
  • Processing corporate policies while ensuring members’ policy details are maintained, updating information as required
  • Establish and maintain current knowledge of HBF’s business rules and procedures, system workarounds and system navigation and keeping abreast with processing updates


About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Attention to detail and accuracy to ensure that the correct information is captured and maintained on both HBF
  • Ability to problem solve and to work collaboratively as part of a team to identify and resolve process issues
  • Some processing experience in financial or insurance relating to claims, membership or products
  • Strong interpersonal skills to provide personalised and professional service to members and stakeholders
  • Professional communication skills both verbal, written and via telephone
