While coordinating with our customers, we are tasked with performing detailed studies of the interconnection of technologies such as wind, solar, energy storage, data center loads and large industrial loads. We model and analyze the dynamics of the power system using several tools such as Siemens PSSE, DSATools, and PSCAD. To meet NERC Compliance, we develop transmission solutions to address stability violations due to system disturbances. Finally, we are heavily involved with industry changing efforts through ERCOT, NERC, NATF and EPRI working groups. These working groups cover many topics including inverter based resources, stability model performance and distributed energy resources.

You qualify with:

Bachelors degree in engineering, engineering technology, engineering physics, biosystems engineering, mathematical science, physical science or related science plus four or more years of post-Bachelors engineering experience relating to the area of engineering specialization required to perform the job.
