LCRA provides electric generation, transmission, and water services as well as parks access to millions of central Texans. LCRA is looking for a Sr. Project Manager with PMP to join an impactful team driving technology and cyber projects in support of our business units. This position applies in-depth knowledge of standard methodologies and experience in own subject area to provide and improve project delivery. Our ideal candidate takes initiative to solve sophisticated problems, can work independently, and receives minimal guidance.

You will be trusted to:

At an advanced level, lead business and technology project while keeping vested collaborators informed.

- Deliver specified project requirements within the constraints of scope, quality, time, cost, and meeting customer satisfaction requirements.
- Responsible for the development of scope decomposition, budget, and schedule.
- Lead project planning, resourcing, staffing, progress reporting and troubleshooting.
- Ensure project results meet requirements regarding technical quality, reliability, schedule, and cost.
- Monitor performance and recommend schedule changes, cost adjustments or resource additions.
- Solve technical and nontechnical problems throughout the life of the project but attempt to proactively resolve problems during the design and planning phases whenever possible.
- Supervise and coordinate work performed by internal resources and outside contractors as applicable to project.
- Provide timely and accurate information and status updates to project sponsors, end users and management.
- Build and maintain project budgets and forecasts and evaluate how project plan changes impact cost and schedule.
- Handle a portfolio of higher risk projects with complex coordination and/or senior management level communication and involvement.
- Act as a resource for colleagues with less experience; advise the work of other staff members.

You qualify with:

- Nine or more years of experience in project controls, project management or work package management, including two or more years managing projects (including managing scope, schedule and budget) or other relevant experience.
- A degree(s) in project management, business, finance, economics, engineering, construction management, math, science, computer science, information technology or relevant field may be substituted per LCRA guidelines for certain years of experience.  
- Driver's license      

You are a great fit with:

- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from Project Management Institute.
- Certified Scrum Master is preferred.
- ITIL v4 Foundation Certification is a plus.
- Experience in or with utilities.
- Experience with Primavera P6, Peoplesoft Financials, and data visualization.
