Job Location: Lower Colorado River Authority, Austin, Texas. Telecommuting (work from home) permitted within metropolitan statistical area.

You will be trusted to:

Job Duties:

1. Design, build, and maintain data integrations.
2. Coordinate integration implementation with key teams.
3. Develop new software applications.
4. Customize existing software programs.
5. Coordinate software development activities.
6. Design, code, test, and deploy oracle SOA BPEL orchestration and Oracle Service Bus routing web services for integration with on-prem and cloud applications.
7. Provide on-call support for integration applications and server issues.
8. Work with business SMEs for technical requirement analysis and develop web services specifications for the new integration projects.
9. Perform security updates by renewing SFTP and encryption keys.
10. Implement bug fixes and requirement updates from the vendor software to maintain existing integrations.
11. Assist with production support and development of integration for the following business applications: Identity Management System, PeopleSoft Finance and HR, Qualtrics, Maximo Asset Management, and Supply Chain Management.
12. Utilize the following technologies: Oracle SOA BPEL, OSB, Java, Webservices, SOAP, and REST API Development, WSDL, XSD, XSLT, X-Query, XML/JSON Standards, (DB, HTTP, SOAP, JMS, File, SFTP) based backend interfaces, WebLogic Server, and Unix.
13. In connection with above duties, utilize experience in developing and programming/coding software application with current industry accepted toolsets and languages and support of custom coded software and applications and off-the-shelf pre-packages software solutions; development skills in Java, Web Services (SOAP and REST), XML, XPath, XSLT, and SQL; using SVN, Ant, JDeveloper, Oracle Developer Framework, Apache and Microsoft IIS Web servers; Oracle Fusion SOA Suite, a web services orchestration such as BPEL and use of Enterprise Service Bus; installing, configuring, and maintaining application servers such as WebLogic; and Linux, Unix, and Windows administrative tasks.

You qualify with:

Master’s degree in Computer Science or related technology field plus 2 years of experience in job offered or 2 years experience in related occupation using experience in the following: developing and programming/coding software application with current industry accepted toolsets and languages and support of custom coded software and applications and off-the-shelf pre-packages software solutions; development skills in Java, Web Services (SOAP and REST), XML, XPath, XSLT, and SQL; using SVN, Ant, JDeveloper, Oracle Developer Framework, Apache and Microsoft IIS Web servers; Oracle Fusion SOA Suite, a web services orchestration such as BPEL and use of Enterprise Service Bus; installing, configuring, and maintaining application servers such as WebLogic; and Linux, Unix, and Windows administrative tasks.

In lieu of Master’s degree, employer will accept Bachelor’s degree in above listed fields plus 5 years of progressive work experience in related occupation. Experience may be gained concurrently. Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training or experience.
