Come join a growing organization by coordinating the construction of telecommunications projects for the Lower Colorado River Authority. In this role you'll serve as an owner's representative to ensure that project construction meets design specifications, is delivered on schedule and is within budget.

A successful candidate will be able to establish direction, identify problems and resolve issues related to the delivery of the constructed project. They will also maintain heavy involvement with coordination and scheduling of field teams and construction resources, including quality control, site safety, vendors and suppliers throughout project initiation, startup, execution and closeout. They will be expected to initiate prompt corrective action to get a project back on track and reports results of action.

Additionally, will need to provide technical input and serve as a planning resource for construction support resources.

You will be trusted to:

- Maintain heavy involvement with coordination and scheduling of field teams and related resources, including quality control, site safety, schedule and cost control, vendors and suppliers.

- Assist the project team by providing input to contract bid proposals and bid evaluations as required.

- Provide input regarding modifications, change orders and other impacts. Provide information to the project team as needed to revise project scope, schedule and costs.

- Provide technical input and serves as a planning resource for the construction work packages.

- Travel independently or with a small team to construction project sites as needed across LCRA’s service area.

You qualify with:

- Nine or more years of experience in construction management relating to the area of construction specialization required to perform the job, including two or more years supervisory or other relevant contractor management experience. A degree(s) in construction, engineering, project management or relevant field may be substituted per LCRA guidelines for certain years of experience.

- Driver's license
