You will be trusted to:

- Monitor and operate plant equipment in accordance with operating procedure
- Isolate and tag out equipment for maintenance
- With time and OJT, become trained in the position of control room operator
- Perform breaker racking operations
- Train/demonstrate proficiency on all operating and safety procedures and policies

You qualify with:

- Four or more years of experience in the inspection, monitoring and maintenance of power plant and/or coal yard equipment, including the isolation and tagging of systems or other relevant experience.
- A degree(s) in electronics, electrical systems, power plant operations or relevant field may be substituted per LCRA guidelines for certain years of experience.
- Driver's license

- Experience in LOTO Lock-Out Tag Out
- Strong vision towards environmental compliance and safety
- Ability to comprehend drawings, procedures and policies
- Ability to retain information provided in both a structured training program and OJT
