LCRA’s Solution Implementation team is looking for an experienced Maximo Developer to join our team at LCRA. We are a billion-dollar public enterprise that exists to improve the quality of life of the people of Texas through water stewardship, energy and community service, and we’ve been doing it since 1934. This role is integral to our team of technology professionals, located in Austin, Texas, where you will contribute to the design, development, implementation, configuration, and maintenance of our Maximo EAM and other related applications, delivering innovative software solutions to business challenges.

You will be trusted to:

- Apply industry experience and leading practices to architect, design, develop and implement IBM Maximo solutions to support complex business requirements.
- Perform IBM Maximo application development, system administration, troubleshooting software issues and maintaining patch levels.
- Develop and troubleshoot integrations in Maximo Integration Framework to integrate key enterprise-wide systems.
- Develop Maximo reports using Maximo Business Intelligence Reporting Tools (BIRT).
- Develop Maximo Automation Scripts with OSLC REST APIs
- Gather and document user requirements and functional/technical specifications for software solutions as needed.
- Maintain existing software programs. Troubleshoots and provides tier 3 user support for software applications.
- Configure and Customize IBM Maximo mobile framework
- Independently work to schedule and plan workload within a larger team, managing tasks and timelines to meet larger deadlines, while coordinating within a dynamic project
- Stay current with emerging software trends and features
- Assist with learning and onboarding new technologies with the team

You qualify with:

- Nine or more years of experience in developing and programming/coding software applications or relevant experience. A degree(s) in computer science or relevant field may be substituted per LCRA guidelines for certain years of experience.

You are a great fit with:

- Strong knowledge of IBM Maximo 7.x application and MAS (Maximo Application Suite) configuration and support including Maximo Integration Framework and BIRT report writing.
- Programming experience in Java, Python or Jython and JavaScript
- Experience customizing Maximo Business Components through Java/Jython/JavaScript development and experience with Maximo versions 7.x and MAS (Maximo Application Suite).
- Experience in development/Configuration and support of Maximo add-on modules like Maximo Spatial, Maximo Mobile, Service Provider and MRO IO
- Knowledge of middleware/webservers and Oracle database environments.
- Functional knowledge of Enterprise Asset Management systems.
- Proficiency in SQL and ability to write queries against Maximo data model
- Resourcefulness, creativity, and strategic thinking.
- Experience facilitating sessions.
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively on diverse teams.
- Sound verbal and written communication skills.
- Administration of WebSphere application servers in a high availability environment.
- Experience with React and JavaScript
