Are you seeking to further your career in supply chain? At LCRA, we are looking for a driven Senior Materials Specialist to join our Supply Chain Warehouse team! At a senior level, your knowledge of warehouse and inventory management functions will help support LCRA's construction team as well as be a leader for our warehouse team. In this role, you will conduct manual and clerical duties involved in the daily operation of LCRA warehouses, storage areas, and laydown yards. You will perform inventory and materials management tasks. This includes material handling, shipping/receiving, stock maintenance, disposal and coordination of material movements between warehouses, facilities and project sites. We would have you operate material handling equipment. Our ideal candidate would utilize in-depth knowledge of best practices and experience in own discipline to provide and improve services!
You will be trusted to:
- Issue, receive, stores and/or transfer materials for jobs; enter data into automated systems and/or manual record keeping systems. Ensure material issues are correct. May perform receipts in complex materials assembly situations. - Build and maintain strong stakeholder and contractor relationships and successfully coordinates with stakeholders as required. - Assist with resolution of discrepancies between orders and delivered goods and effectively identifies problems, evaluates options, and develop and implement solutions to accomplish business objectives. - With a minimal level of guidance, appropriately prioritize work to align with departmental goals and business objectives. - Put safety at the forefront of all activities. Attend and successfully completes LCRA/department-specific forklift training and obtains certification within LCRA program. Move materials using forklifts upon obtaining certification.

You qualify with:
- Four or more years of experience in materials handling, inventory, shipping/receiving, or warehouse operations or relevant experience - Driver's license required for incumbents with corresponding driving responsibilities - Employees in the Fayette Power Project and Ferguson attend and successfully complete Hazmat shipping training
You are a great fit with:
