At LCRA, we are seeking to find a driven Optimization Analyst Lead to join our team! This position supports the execution of strategic and operational initiatives for the Supply Chain department. In this role you will utilize your skills and experience in operational analysis, process improvement, project management, data analysis and business systems analysis to meet the goals and objectives of the department. This is an opportunity to drive efficiencies by designing, development and implementing new solutions to improve operational efficiency, and advise operational and strategic decisions. In-depth knowledge of procurement and contract administration will assist with operational enhancements. Our ideal candidate would be a strong communicator that can write and design policy and procedure around both technical and non-technical solutions and interact with various departments in support of supply chain initiatives.
You will be trusted to:
- May serve as a project manager for operational or strategic initiatives. - Serve as a data steward for internally developed tools and support other data governance efforts. - Utilize business process management tools to translate process maps and process measurements into system level implementation. - Provide recommendations on selection/upgrades of these tools. - Analyze business operations to understand strengths and weaknesses to determine opportunities to improve effectiveness. Design new or modified processes, tools, procedures and/or reports to solve complex problems and enable effective operations. Communicate changes effectively.
You qualify with:
- Twelve or more years’ experience in operations analysis, process improvement, project management, business systems analysis or financial analysis or relevant experience. A degree in, business, economics, finance, computer science, information systems or relevant field may be substituted per LCRA guidelines for certain years of experience.
