This entry-level role is responsible for processing accurate employee data within the HRIS systems and supporting other HR related programs. You will learn about employee and retiree benefits, business rules related to employee transactions, employee programs, as well as budgetary support responsibilities. You will provide general HR customer service and triage questions from employees and retirees, ensuring they are addressed by the proper HR Subject Matter Expert. What does this all mean? Our approach to the work environment focuses on the balance between teamwork and flexibility which means we are currently in a hybrid schedule: two days in office at a minimum with the option to work three days remotely (locally).* Subject to change.

You will be trusted to:

- Assist with and perform a variety of basic human resources duties at the professional level related to HR benefits, policies and programs. Serve as a point of contact for our HR help line.
-Perform transactions in various systems in support of HR operational needs. Create and maintain confidential records, processes personnel actions and ensures proper approval.
- Perform billing, compliance and budgetary support including invoice/credit card reconciliation.
- Support multiple HR programs such as wellness and lead the flower/donation program.
- Coordinate and schedule external and internal meetings.

You qualify with:

- Four or more years of experience in human resources or relevant experience. A degree(s) in human resource management, business or relevant field may be substituted per LCRA guidelines for certain years of experience.  
- Driver's license

You are a great fit with:

- Degree in human resource management, business administration or relevant field
- HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP)
- Effective interpersonal skills including the ability to collaborate, influence, negotiate, resolve conflicts and effectively coach both managers and employees
- Experience administering HR programs
