If so and understanding how work gets done fascinates you, the Transmission’s Learning and Development team wants to talk. Our team leads a learning program dedicated to the continuous improvement of Transmission’s operations through incident reporting and human performance improvement methodologies that serve to help us learn, improve and prevent. We’re currently seeking an enthusiastic and experienced trainer to support our human performance program. Our preferred candidate will be certified in HPI/HOP and must be comfortable presenting to a wide range of audiences.

You will be trusted to:

- Works closely with department supervisor to understand unique business performance gaps and learning needs.
- Leads collaborative efforts to develop ad hoc training solutions.
- Assist with creating, promoting, and delivering learning, development solutions.
- Partners with management to build and develop stronger work teams within assigned areas.
- Ensures learning and development programs are engaging and relevant to employees in various work environments.
- Manages a wide variety of day-to-day learning and development activities.
- Applies learning management systems to coordinate training.
- Monitors and evaluates training programs to ensure maximum effectiveness.
- Ensures effective delivery mechanisms for learning solutions (e.g., classroom, web-based, blended learning).
- Provides managers with recommendations for their team needs and/or for specific team member needs.
- Collaborates with department leaders to ensure learning and development initiatives align with LCRA’s companywide strategies and objectives.

You qualify with:

- Nine or more years of experience in companywide and/or operational training and development programs or other relevant experience. A degree(s) in human resource management, business administration, or relevant field may be substituted per LCRA guidelines for certain years of experience.
- Driver’s license
