LCRA’s Irrigation Operation Division is seeking a motivated Business Coordinator eager to join our team! At an intermediate level, you will gain hands-on experience in developing customer relationships, enhance business operations for our stakeholders, and work daily with our field operations group. This position will utilize your current knowledge and experience while allowing you to grow within our LCRA network. You will be trusted to:
- Assist department in activities such as preparing reports, budgets, and correspondence. - Perform analysis and/or research in support of business operations. - Coordinate with other departments and serves as a primary point of contact for inter-departmental activities. - Provide information and basic training to department staff related to systems, processes and projects. - Monitor and maintain department records such as budgets, work plans, schedules, and projects. - Prepare, type, and process forms such as those needed for office supplies, expense reports, time sheets, Procards, and other department-related forms. - Maintain information and store/use data through various software programs, spreadsheets and databases. - Coordinate and schedule external and internal meetings, training activities, and seminars, to include the possibility of meal coordination, pick-up, and set-up.
You qualify with:
- Four or more years of administrative, business, operations, or other relevant experience. A degree in a relevant field may be substituted per LCRA guidelines for certain years of experience. - Driver’s license for departments where independent travel is required.

- Skill in communicating effectively with team members, supervision, and internal/external contacts in a professional manner - Skill in providing customer service - Skill in office productivity applications (such as email, word processing, spreadsheets, etc.) and software for electronically store corporate data and files - Ability to build relationships and foster teamwork - Ability to work in a team environment
