Are you looking to leverage your LCRA Transmission knowledge to help design modern technology applications and tool sets? Are you interested in leading a team of developers and analysts? This is an opportunity to join a fast-paced Transmission team dedicated to continuous process improvement and effective data analysis. We’re hiring a Supv, Solution Implementation in our Transmission Operational Intelligence department. We design and develop applications with a process improvement mindset. This is a hybrid position that requires 2 days a week in office in Austin, TX at our Montopolis location.
You will be trusted to:
- Provide leadership, direction and supervision to staff - Providing training and coaching to staff including individual and team training and development programs and mentoring staff in technical best practices. - A collaborative, problem solving mindset focused on improving user experience and system effectiveness. - Skilled in communicating with both technical and business users to gather requirements and explain solutions. - Ability to plan, prioritize, and manage multiple workstreams, balancing quick wins with longer term-initiatives. - Understanding of Transmission systems or utility operations - Familiarity with Jira, PeopleSoft, HTML, and TOAD Data Point - Experience in the Microsoft Power Platform (BI, Apps, Automate) - Proficiency with running Oracle and SQL queries to analyze data - Oversee the Transmission Jira application
You qualify with:
- Nine or more years of experience in information technology, or other relevant experience. - A degree(s) in computer science, information technology or relevant field may be substituted per LCRA guidelines for certain years of experience.
You are a great fit with:
- Advanced functional Maximo knowledge - Advanced SQL skills (MS SQL and Oracle SQL) - Advanced Meridian or Autodesk knowledge - Advanced Microsoft Power Platform skills (Power BI, DAX, Power Automate & Power Apps) - Advanced Active Directory and Microsoft Azure experience - Knowledge of LCRA's system architecture, asset management and financial applications.
