Do you enjoy the great outdoors with hand-on projects? LCRA Parks is a Texas-based park system that spans the Hill Country to the Gulf. With over 40 parks along the lower Colorado River, each park offers unique experiences to outdoor enthusiasts from across the country. We are seeking to find a driven Parks Operations Coordinator Lead for a project position! In this role you will manage a diverse team while overseeing the park’s facilities, grounds, customer service and light construction projects at Canyon of the Eagles. This position will be based in Burnet, Texas, Canyon of the Eagles is over 900 acres on beautiful Lake Buchanan. The park’s amenities include 18 miles of trails, 25 RV full-hookup campsites and 33 campsites for visitors to enjoy. If this role sounds like the right fit for you, then apply today!

You will be trusted to:

- Provide leadership and direction to staff
- Hire, train, assign work, evaluates and manages performance
- Maintain awareness of department issues and responds to employee needs and concerns
- Communicate with employees to ensure accurate and timely dissemination of information
- Plan labor to execute work projects.
- Adhere to environmental and departmental policies and procedures
- Perform routine facility maintenance and inspections
- Operate with an in-depth focus on safety
- Provide outstanding customer service to visitors and teammates

You qualify with:

- Five or more years of experience in carpentry, plumbing, facility maintenance, landscaping or construction or relevant experience.
- Driver's license
